Firstly I think we should play sport every day because we can get fit by running around.

Secondly I think we should play sport every day because we can get a lot of oxygen.

Another reason I think we should play sport every day because we learn tricks by dribbling the ball.

Lastly I think we should play sport every day because we can have a lot of fun.

That’s why I think we should play sport every day.

We should do homework every night.

I think we should do homework every night.

Firstly I think we should do homework every night because when we do our Homework every night we are practising our learning.

Secondly I think we should do homework every night because we will get smarter when we  give our brain a workout.

Another reason we should do our homework every day is because we can know our words properly.

Lastly why I think we should do our homework every night is because it helps us to get better at our reading.

So that’s why I think we should do our homework every night.

Tautoro Cross Country

Whaea Rosina shouted, “Ready set GO!”

It was Wednesday morning. I was running with the rest of the 7 and 8 year olds around the Padlie farm.

My heart was pounding and my legs felt like wobbly jelly. On my next run I started to have a lot of stitches and so I jogged. The hardest part was running up the hill.

My mum was shouting GO! Ani! GO! Ani!

I had to do two laps and I was in team red. It was so had to run but I did not stop. I was running so fast.

Miss Simeon told us to run in the puddles because we were country kids, so I ran in. The water was cold but that was good because I was so hot.

I started to see the fine line so I ran so fast.

Yay! I came 3rd out of the girls. My mum gave me my powerade. It was so yummy. I was so happy.

At the pools

On Sunday afternoon I went with my family to the pools in Whangarei. I was so excited.  

First me and my sister put on our togs and we jumped in the deep end of a big swimming pool. The water was cold as ice. We had a little swim in the cold pool but then we were getting very cold so we went into the spa pool to warm up. It was so warm and lovely.

We had an awesome family day at the pools. It was so much fun.

After that we all went to get some pizza.
